One of the most beautiful beaches on the Slovene coast is very near, just steps away from the Metropol Resort.
Just several metres from the beach, guests who love sports will find recreational facilities for a wide range of sports, including tennis, beach volleyball and six-a-side football. The restaurants and bars along the beach are open throughout the year; together with the many shops that line the boulevards on the way from the hotel to the beach they give the area a distinct urban feel. That’s why there’s no shortage of excellent restaurants: you’ll find seafood restaurants, Mexican restaurants, pizzerias... you can be sure there’s always something happening in Portorož.

In summer months, umbrellas and deck chairs for use on the beach and at the Metropol Resort’s outdoor pool are available free of charge to all guests of the Grand Hotel Metropol.
