Guests of Hotel Barbara can start their day right with a healthy, energy-rich breakfast in the Hotel’s breakfast area. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00.

Lunch and dinner are served at the restaurants of the Grand Hotel Metropol; choose from our Grand Salon self-service restaurant or the San Lorenzo à la carte restaurant. The Grand Hotel Metropol’s chefs grow the spices they use in their dishes in their own garden, located in the Hotel complex. It’s just one of the ways that they add a special touch to the meals they prepare.


At the San Lorenzo restaurant, choose from choice Mediterranean specialties and exquisitely prepared international dishes. Guests will also find an extensive wine card.  The restaurant is open from 12:00 to 24:00.

The Euro Bar located in Hotel Barbara provides a peaceful, modern, relaxed ambience that’s perfect for a pleasant chat over your favourite drink or a superb cup of coffee.  In the hot summer months, pine trees cover the Bar’s terrace with refreshing shade, making it the perfect place to relax.

The town of Portorož is home to a number of superb restaurants where you’ll find a relaxing atmosphere and a variety of delicious food sure to fulfil your culinary wishes. Guests will find a pizzeria, a seafood restaurant, a Mexican restaurant and a restaurant serving a wide variety of cuisine typical of the Mediterranean region... all located within minutes of the Hotel.
